Friday Jan 17th: "OBAMA ORDERS restricts the NSA's ability to store phone data and changes other surveillance practices in response to months-long review of controversial spying practices." This man has lied about everything he has done. His administration is a lie from top to bottom, and then he asks us to trust him? Is he nuts! He wants us to forget the NSA, Fast and Furious, Benghazi, AP, IRS, and Obamacare scandals and focus on his agenda. No wait, better not focus on that either.

Freedom's Last Gasp?

I was feeling more hopeful about repeal of the NYS gun law until I read this:

“Currently the New York SAFE Act bans the sale of assault rifles and requires current owners to register their weapons with the New York State Police.

      Just last week a Federal judge ruled in favor of the SAFE Act provisions, saying they are constitutional because they are "related to achieving an important governmental interest". Just what the hell does that mean compared to “shall not be infringed?” Basically, it means that anything that serves the government's purpose is lawful (if I can read). That begs the question who is the government………….. This ruling was passed down by a Federal judge! The illegal SAFE Act broke not only the 2^nd amendment of the US constitution but several portions of the NYS constitution as well. This is not even being contested. BUT they have nullified both constitutions “to achieve an important governmental interest.” We the people had no say in this law at all and now no honest redress or recourse through the courts.
